The Gap

As part of his ongoing series titled ‘The Gap’, Harry Culy presents a meditative look at an ever changing horizon. This series was photographed looking east across the Tasman Sea from the cliffs at Sydney's South Head between 2014-2016.

Harry Culy is a photographer based in Wellington, New Zealand. Winner of the RT Nelson Emerging Art award in 2016, Harry Culy’s work bridges the gap between documentary and conceptual photography. 

He also likes to make books and has a company called Bad News Books and a psychic cat called Hank. His work is drawn from observations within everyday life.
